B&Q, Homebase and Wickes opening hours for August Bank Holiday 2020

It’s August Bank Holiday in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and for many that means the chance to catch up on any of those little jobs that need doing around the house.

All of which means you might need to take a little trip to B&Q, Homebase or Wickes to stock up on your DIY supplies.

All of the chains will be open this bank holiday as usual, but just what time will they be opening their doors and shutting up shop?

B&Q opening hours for August Bank Holiday

Most branches of B&Q are open today, having opened their doors around the usual time of 7am or 8am.

Many of them will also be open until 8pm, giving you plenty of time to attend to your DIY needs.

Homebase opening hours for August Bank Holiday

Homebase’s opening hours will also vary depending on where you are in the country.

However many of their stores today will be open by 9am and will close around 6pm.

Use the store locator on their website to double check your local branch is open and confirm those opening hours.

Wickes opening hours for August Bank Holiday

Most branches of Wickes are open today, although opening hours vary depending on where in the country you are.

Some branches are opening as early as 7 or 7.30am but others may be opening as late as 9 – while many are closing at around 5pm.
