Your Responsibilities
Serves as the Engineering leader for multiple core IT services. Good understanding of business needs and strategic acumen to develop innovative engineering solutions, and manage multiple teams to enable the business. Utilizes and defines key performance metrics to improve IT services and increase business value.
As a Group Engineering Manager for Infrastructure & Operations located in Moline, IL or Chicago you will be responsible for:

  • Leads the development of personal computing technology stack strategy that aligns with enterprise infrastructure.
  • Manages multiple engineering teams and Engineering Managers, this includes talent development, coaching, performance management and team building.
  • Develops, tracks, and manages the capital and expense budget for the department.
  • Defines, monitors, and maintains key metrics for personal computing technology to measure the effectiveness and value of the services provided.
  • Appropriately develop and implements Technologies, processes and capabilities to meet current and emerging enterprise business needs.

What Skills You Need

  • Extensive experience of applications development, database management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints. (5 – 10 Years)
  • Supervisory experience, which includes placement, work direction, coaching, and performance management. (4 – 7 Years)
  • C ollaborates with business leaders to deliver IT solutions. May be responsible for global relationships. ( 4- 7 Years)

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. – University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
