During Week 2 of Fortnite Season 4, players can get another step closer to unlocking the Wolverine skin. They need to board a Quinjet during a match.
For the last few seasons of Fortnite, players have had the opportunity to unlock a special skin outside the Battle Pass and shop by completing specific challenges the first few weeks of a season. Often, these challenges correspond in some way to the character the skin is based on. In Season 2, players did this to obtain the Deadpool skin. In Season 3, players completed these challenges to unlock the Aquaman skin. And, in Season 4, players can do this to unlock the Wolverine skin. During Week 1, players needed to search Weeping Woods for claw marks that looked like they might belong to Wolverine. This week, they’ll need to find a loading screen picture at a Quinjet landing site.

Players can typically watch for the Quinjets as they land while riding the Battle Bus. There are four landing sites during each match, though these change each time. The sites are guarded by Stark robots, so players may need to fight to complete this challenge. If players can get past the guards and avoid detection by other players, they should have no trouble seeing the loading screen and checking off another task on the list toward unlocking Wolverine in the game. Here’s how to find the loading screen picture to complete the Fortnite Season 4 Week 2 Wolverine challenge.
Find the Loading Screen Picture in Fortnite Season 4
To find the loading screen, players will need to get inside one of the landed Quinjets. The easiest way to figure out where the landing sites are in a given map is to watch them as they land while the player is still in the Battle Bus.
If the player is lucky, the landing sites won’t be near hotly contested areas or popular landing sites during a match. However, even if the sites are less than ideal, the player can avoid problems by choosing to land somewhere near but not right on top of the site.
Every Quinjet will be guarded by Stark robots, in keeping with the theme of the season. To bypass these robots, players will want to have a weapon or two. If they choose to land a little bit away from the landing site, they can search a few chests in hopes of finding a weapon. If they choose to land right on one of the Quinjets, they can run inside and loot the S.H.I.E.L.D Chest to get a weapon and use it to fight off the robots. Both are equally viable options and mostly up to player preference.
To find the loading screen, players need to go past the S.H.I.E.L.D Chest to the back of the plane. There, they should see the loading screen with an image of three versions of Wolverine: traditional gold and blue, brown and orange, and Hugh Jackman’s Logan. Interacting with it will complete the challenge, and players will earn that loading screen as their reward.
Though it has not yet been confirmed, based on the image, some fans have speculated it is possible all three of these versions of Wolverine will be available as part of the set when players unlock it. This would be a change, as Deadpool and Aquaman only had the basic skin and one variant. Players will have to wait and see if this is the case.
