Melania Trump Ripped Her Hand Away From Donald After the Debate—And Twitter Has Thoughts

Melania Trump is once again the talk of Twitter.

No, she didn’t diss Christmas decorations again, but she did go back to a move that’s become low-key common since she’s been on the national scene. After the final presidential debate between her husband, Donald Trump, and Democratic challenger Joe Biden, the First Lady was captured on camera basically ripping her hand away from the president’s.

You can see it quite clearly in this clip on Twitter where the couple is standing on the stage and then moves to leave, with a masked Melania taking her hand away from President Trump’s.

Obviously, we don’t know exactly what their relationship is like, but it certainly comes in stark contrast to the way we’ve seen other political couples—like Barack and Michelle Obama, Joe and Jill Biden, and George W. and Laura Bus—interact with each other publicly.

As with all things Trump, there was a lot of chatter about the moment on social media. “I know we hate a ‘Melania HATES him’ narrative BUT I MEAN,” one person tweeted. “As angry and we all would be if Trump wins again. No one, and I mean NO ONE, will be as angry as Melania,” another wrote.

This is not the only recent controversy—if you can call it that—Melania Trump has been in the middle of lately. Earlier this month, leaked recordings of her and former friend and advisor Stephanie Winston Wolkoff were made public—including a convo about the aforementioned Christmas decorations.

“I’m working…my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know. Who gives a fuck about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?” she was heard saying.

Sshe continued, “Okay, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas, and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’ Give me a fucking break. Were they were saying anything when Obama did that?”
