Kate Hudson Celebrated Son Ryder’s High School Graduation With an Adorably Cheesy Message

Ryder Robinson, son of Kate Hudson and musician Chris Robinson, is officially a high school graduate—and Mom couldn’t be prouder.

On Thursday, June 2, the Fabletics cofounder posted two images from the major milestone.

“Today was a big day for our family,” Hudson wrote on Instagram. “A day you talk about when your kids are little and say things like ‘hey, one day it will be 2022 and you’ll graduate from high school!’ As if that day is so far it is barely reachable. And then here we are!”

She goes on to call her oldest son “the most incredible young man,” adding, “raising you has been one of the great gifts and pleasures of my life. You bring so much to everyone’s life. You are kind, loving, generous, patient, hilarious and one of a kind. I am so excited for this next chapter. Way to go baby! Ma loves you! AND!!! To all the parents out there feeling the same thing I am today! CONGRATS! Letting your babies fly ain’t easy but fly kiddos fly.”

In the photos, Robinson posed in his green cap and gown with his siblings Bingham Bellamy, 10, and Rani Fujikawa, 3, smiling for the memorable moment alongside Hudson. (The actor shares her middle child Bingham with Matt Bellamy, and her youngest with Danny Fujikawa.)

Many of Hudson’s famous friends shared their congrats to the graduate on Hudson’s post, including Leslie Mann, who is not only an iconic actor herself but also the mother of Iris Apatow—who is dating Ryder and who just celebrated an anniversary with him. Even more reasons to celebrate!
