Dragon Age: The Veilguard Partners In a Dangerous Crime Walkthrough

The Partners in a Dangerous Crime quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a side quest that finally finishes the spy parts of the Crows missions. This is where players find out who the traitor is and what to do with them. The two difficult parts of the quest are completing the puzzle and what to do about the traitors when you find them. This is one of the few times in the game that you can end up with a sad moment.

Make sure to bring some companions that you want to like you more. The quest isn’t challenging; it’s just the puzzle and the choice at the end. Regardless of what you’re picking, your companions will like you more, so this is an excellent way to sponge up more kind feelings from them. If you want a more difficult conundrum, you should get to the point where you must support or disagree with Varric’s Plan to confront Solas.

How To Solve The Brazier Puzzle In Partners In A Dangerous Crime

Easy Way To Solve It

The brazier puzzle in the Partners in a Dangerous Crime quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a simple but essential step in uncovering the secret romance between a Crow and a Venatori. You’ll find yourself in a secluded alleyway with four braziers scattered around. The key to solving this puzzle is in the number of lit candles next to each brazier. These candles clearly indicate the order in which to ignite the braziers. For a visual aid, check out the video above from alexx200x.

Start by finding the brazier with a single lit candle beside it. This brazier will be at the start of the stairs in this alley; this brazier should be lit first. Next, turn to the nearby stairs to find the second brazier. It will have two candles next to it, which indicates it is the next one to light. Turn around and head down the alley to the next brazier, which has three candles next to it. Turn back around and head toward the first candle until the space opens on the left, showing the last candle.

The brazier will be in the dark corner of the alleyway with four candles next to it. Finally, when you’re done lighting all of the braziers, you’ll notice a door next to the last one. Go inside and walk through to see the empty room with an interactive spot near it.

Should You Turn In The Lovers?

There are two options at the end of this quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. You can either turn in the lovers or warn them that they’re about to be caught. Warning them just has them run away safely, without any consequences. The better choice is to turn the lovers in and have them face the consequences of their actions. This is because the Crows and the Venatori will come to blows. The Crow that was in love would kill his lover, solidifying his place in the guild.

While this doesn’t leave for a real happy ending, it’s good from a roleplaying point of view. This will strengthen the Crow faction hypothetically, and you need them to be strong. If you prefer, just let them go; it doesn’t have any effect on the overall story. Either way, you get 500 XP, +50 Antivan Crows Strength, a Glacial Loop, and an increased bond with your current companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
