The Bachelor season 27 contestant Brianna Thorbourne got a head start on the competition for Zach Shallcross’ heart, and now spoilers reveal whether she made it to the end of the season. She received safety at the first rose ceremony through the America’s First Impression Rose. For Brianna, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Jersey City, New Jersey, the rose, which was given to her during The Bachelorette season 19 finale, ended up being more of a curse than a blessing.

This was because some of Brianna’s fellow Bachelor season 27 contestants felt that she should not talk to Zach on night one since she was already safe. Although Brianna faced some jealousy from the other Bachelor contestants, she did have a nice chat with Zach before the rose ceremony. However, a preview for The Bachelor episode 2 revealed that Brianna was feeling very insecure about how Zach felt about her. She also felt unsupported by the rest of the women. Brianna seemed to be uncomfortable with her status on the show so far, which was inevitable since she was put in such an awkward position before the season even officially began.

Brianna Thorbourne Goes On Two Bachelor Group Dates

According to Reality Steve, Brianna participated in the much-anticipated group date that featured the rapper Latto and Bachelor Nation alums Victoria Fuller, Courtney Robertson, and Tahzjuan Hawkins. Brianna was chosen by Latto as having the “big b****” energy, and was declared the winner of the competition on the date. The following week, Brianna went on a group date that included a tackle football game.

Before the third Bachelor season 27 rose ceremony, the cocktail party was replaced by a pool party earlier in the day. Reality Steve wrote that at that party, Christina Mandrell was the ring leader who decided to remind Brianna that her first impression rose came from America and not Zach. Brianna ended up quitting The Bachelor season 27, leaving before the rose ceremony. Zach later eliminated Christina by not giving her a rose.

The Bachelor should never offer a rose from America again. It put a target on Brianna’s back, and also put unnecessary pressure on her. However, if Brianna and Zach had a strong connection, perhaps she would have stayed longer to explore it. Brianna’s Bachelor journey might have ended early, but she is already such a fan-favorite that she might be on the path to being the next leading lady of The Bachelorette.
