Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear has pleaded not guilty in his revenge porn case at Chelmsford Crown Court, giving the judge a double thumbs-up as he did it

Stephen Bear pleaded not guilty as he appeared in court in his revenge porn case, giving the judge a double thumbs-up in the process.

The former Ex on the Beach star and Celebrity Big Brother winner was at Chelmsford Crown Court today, after his case was transferred from Colchester Magistrates’ Court.

The 31-year-old is accused of filming himself having sex with a woman at his home on August 2, last year, and then sharing the CCTV video on OnlyFans and adult site Pornhub without her consent.

He has been charged with voyeurism, two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, plus an allegation of harassment without violence.

Beaming on his way into court this morning, he gave cameras a thumbs-up and flashed a huge smile as he mimed firing a machine gun.

He will now face a trial next February.

Today, charges of one count of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs or films with intent to cause distress were read to him and he responded with a ‘not guilty’ plea.

He then gave Judge Christopher Morgan a double thumbs-up and thanked the justice as the 10-minute plea hearing came to an end.

At the end of the hearing, he told the court: “Thank you for that. It’s nice to finally set a date when I can hopefully get my life back.”

Bear was released on bail to reappear before a jury on February 7 next year. The trial is expected to last two to three days.

Just before he left the dock, Judge Morgan told him: “Your trial is now fixed for February 7 next year.

“If you don’t attend when required to do so a warrant may be issued for your arrest.”

Bear faced backlash on social media yesterday after declaring he was excited for his court appearance and asking his followers what he should wear.

He tweeted: “Can’t wait for court tomorrow. What colour shirt should I wear.”

His tweet was met with a fiery response, with people suggesting he wasn’t taking his court appearance seriously.

After asking for advice, he ended up wearing a light pink shirt and a baby blue suit and a pair of sunglasses, with his hair slicked back.

He pulled up in a black Mercedes with a custom number plate spelling his name.
