Stacey Solomon was over the moon to announce that her family had welcomed a new addition ahead of Valentine’s Day.
The 31-year-old Loose Women panelist revealed on Friday that they were totally smitten after welcoming a tiny new puppy.
In a series of Instagram stories, Stacey revealed that she had rescued a tiny puppy hat needed a new home after successfully convincing Joe Swash that it was a good idea.
“So after a lot of consideration and thought lots of talks and loads of research, finding out all the information about him and checking it all our thoroughly. We decided to give him the home that he needed…” Stacey wrote.
The television star then recorded the reaction of her boys meeting their new family member, as well as Stacey’s other dog Theo.
Late on Friday evening, Stacey then addressed her fans and thanked them for their messages as the tiny pooch gnawed at her plaited hair.
The next big challenge, Stacey explained, is to decide on a name for the tiny puppy.
Alongside an adorable picture of her son Rex, Stacey also penned a touching message about their adorable new addition.
“Welcome to our family little one. Another little boy for us all to love. And we love you so very much. Sometimes things just happen for a reason and souls come in to our lives just when they’re meant to. We still haven’t worked out what your name is yet but we know you’ll let us know. We love you puppy,” she wrote.
The exciting evening came shortly after Stacey joked about her and Joe Swash being ‘sick of each other’ just days before Valentine’s Day.
The 31-year-old Loose Women panelist, who only got engaged at Christmas, took to social media to open up about the upcoming celebration.
Speaking to her 4.1 million Instagram followers, Stacey admitted that she was going to throw herself into Valentine’s Day – but it was only really for herself.
Taking to her Instagram story, the mum of three opened up about looking forward to a new day.
“I think I’m going to throw myself in Valentine’s this year,” she told her followers.
She added: “Christmas has been, Halloween has been and I just need a new day.”
“I can wake the kids up Valentine’s morning and be like ‘He’s been! Saint Valentine’s has been everyone! Here’s your sack of free kiss vouchers from mummy’,” Stacey added with a giggle.
Alongside the video, Stacey then clarified that the day was actually not for her and Joe.
“Not for me and Joe, we are really sick of each other,” she joked, “Just for me really.
“Time to start making free kisses and cuddle vouchers for mummy.”
Despite teasing that she wasn’t looking to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Joe, the former X Factor star did later reveal a gift that she had made for her husband to be.
Ahead of Sunday, Stacey made Joe a cute customised plate that included all of the family’s finger prints in heart shapes.
She also made a treat box full of pink sweets for her family to enjoy over the weekend.
