Scarlett Moffatt compared herself to the ‘Weetos man’ after asking her boyfriend do perform a DIY job on her hair.
Taking to Instagram, the reality star confessed that she’s been wearing the same extensions since last October and with hairdressers remaining closed, Scarlett turned to beau Scott Dobinson to help her out.
“Jo who does my lovely hair extensions has sent me a video on how to remove them because I did get them in for my birthday in last year,” admitted Scarlett, who turned 30 last October.
“They are in good condition but I need to take them out and prep them for the next time I can see Jo in real life,” she told her followers.
“So guess who’s gonna take them out for us!?” she asked as reluctant boyfriend Scott appeared on camera outing himself as the would-be hairdresser.
“I’m gonna try,” said Scott, who is a police officer.
After the deed was done off camera, Scarlett returned wearing her newly shortened hair in a whispy bun.
Filming herself taking about her new BBC podcast, Scarlett became distracted by her changed appearance and shrieked: “I did not realise I looked like the Weetos man!” referring to Professor Weeto from the cereal boxes.
“Scott has taken all my hair out!” she cried as she gazed at her new ‘do.
Scarlett and 36-year-old constable Scott were first introduced when he was sent her to her home while on the beat.
Former I’m A Celebrity winner Scarlett had called for assistance after being worried about a stranger outside her house.
Recalling their early days, Scarlett told the Mirror: “Scott came to the house. My friend was in the house with me at the time and I was like, ‘He’s so fit, I really fancy him’.
“She said, ‘Why don’t you just comment on a picture on Facebook?’ So I commented on a picture of him and his dog Toby and put, ‘Ah, cute… and the dog’.”
“He commented back with a smiley face and we started chatting on Facebook Messenger,” she added. “We’d known each other for a long time.”
