Sean Combs has revealed to fans that he ditched his middle name and replaced it with ‘Love’.
The 51-year-old musician, who has been known by several monikers throughout his career including P Diddy, took to Twitter on Monday to confirm the news.
In the post, the dad of six shared a picture of his Florida driving license as well as confirming that his middle name was no longer John.
Instead, the artist was excited to reveal that he would instead be called Sean Love Combs.
“Look what I just got in the mail today… IT’S OFFICIAL!!! WELCOME TO THE LOVE ERA,” he cheerfully penned alongside the post.
To celebrate the official change, Sean also set his Twitter handle to ‘LOVE.’
In a second picture, the musician also shared an image of himself as he wrote out the names that he has used throughout the years.
While several fans expressed delight about the news, others pointed out that the star should be more careful about sharing his driving license on social media.
Details that featured on the image appeared to be his signature and driving license number.

It’s certainly not the first time that Sean has decided to switch things up when it comes to his name. In the past, he has used a host of recognisable aliases such as Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy and Love.
It was actually in 2017 that he first announced that he had changed his name to Love.
At the time, he said that he identified as Brother Love and would be ditching his earlier aliases.
He said in a video: “I decided to change my name again. I’m just not who I am before, I’m something different.
“So my new name is love AKA Brother Love. I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love.”
Despite announcing the change almost 4 years ago, Sean appears to have since opted to keep his first name and couldn’t be happier with his new middle name.
