The former Victoria’s Secret model, 37, who shares nine-year-old son Flynn with the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 43, said she’s chuffed he’s found someone who makes him happy.
Speaking to Drew Barrymore via video call for her talk show, Miranda said she’s got a lot of respect for Orlando and Katy, 36, and that it goes both ways.
Drew praised the model on her “positive” approach co-parenting, telling her: “[It’s] such an amazing example of how we all can create that narrative and behave that way and set a tone for everybody.”
Miranda said: “I adore Katy and I just feel so happy that Orlando has found someone that makes his heart so happy, because at the end of the day, for Flynn to have a happy father and a happy mother is just the most important thing.
“I’m just so grateful that Orlando and Katy found each other and I’m so grateful that I found my incredible husband [Evan Spiegel] and just that we all really respect each other.
“When it comes to special occasions, when we have to be together, we work it out so we have compromises [about] what is the best for our whole family.”
She added: “We really do always think of what is the best thing for Flynn, and I just think that’s the most important thing.”
After Katy welcomed her first child – a baby girl named Daisy Bloom – with Orlando back in August, Miranda was actually one of the first to congratulate the pair.
“I’m so happy for you guys,” she penned on both their Instagram pages alongside a heart and rainbow emojis.
“Can’t wait to meet her,” she added.
Orlando and Miranda divorced back in 2013 but they have kept a healthy and “friendly” relationship ever since.
Miranda has since found love with Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, with the pair tying the knot in 2017.
They have since welcomed two boys named Hart and Myles.
