After the tough year that 2020 has brought us, celebrities have gone all out with their festive decorations in a bid to spread some Christmas cheer.
Stars have been putting up their extravagant decorations and decking out their homes with plenty of tinsel, holly, and glamour – and it’s so extra!
Many threw the rule book out of the window as they turned their homes into full-on winter wonderlands in a bid to spread some festive cheer across social media.
From reality stars to high-profile celebrities, here’s a look at some of the best makeovers we have seen so far…
Olivia and Alex Bowen
The Love Island couple have completely outdone their fellow celebrity pals this year.
The lovebirds, who met on the show in 2016 and tied the knot in 2018, transformed their stunning £1million Essex mansion into a complete festive wonderland.
Blonde bombshell Olivia, 26, enlisted the help of AMInteriorsByDesign to create an impressive winter wonderland complete with four life-sized nutcrackers.
The pair decided to deck out their lavish abode with two extravagant Christmas trees.
Olivia also embellished their hallway with glistening fairy lights which hung across the staircase.
The reality TV star decorated the huge kitchen with an array of pristine white bouquets which did wonders to add to the festive spirits across the home.
This will mark the first Christmas that Olivia and Alex spend in their renovated home after they moved in in February.
Loose Women panelist Stacey is known for switching up her front door with impressive decorations – whatever the occasion.
And this year, the mum-of-three has gone overboard again as she made her beautiful home the perfect Santa’s grotto for her sons.
Standing outside of her front door, Stacey posed with boyfriend Joe Swash and her children to show off the fancy Christmas decorations.
The blended family rocked matching snowy white cable-knits outside their home.
The gang had decorated the entrance with sprigs of holly, miniature trees and baubles to craft their “Winter Wonderland”.
The former McFly hunk couldn’t help himself – and has broken a promise made to wife Giovanna before she went into the I’m A Celeb camp.
Tom, who’s been with Gi since they were teens, swore that he wouldn’t decorate their family home for Christmas until she was out of Gwrych Castle.
But while she faces the cold wind and rain, Tom and the kids caved in and brought out the baubles and tree.
Sharing a snap of their front door, decked out with a bauble archway, Tom showed off the tree in the entrance to their Essex home.
“OOPS! I can’t thank @earlyhoursltd enough for transforming the house today. With Mumma away and 2020 being, well, 2020, I wanted to make the home as Christmassy as possible for the kids…ok, it’s for me mainly but the kids love it too!”
The former Saturdays singer couldn’t be any more excited for the Christmas season – it’s evident from her festive decorations.
The busy mum-of-three, who recently welcomed baby boy Blake with husband Marvin, took to Insagram to reveal that she simply couldn’t wait any longer to deck out her home with tinsel and holly.
Rochelle shared a selection of snaps and unveiled one particularly lavish decoration that wrapped around her fireplace of the family’s north London home.
The eye-catching piece was made up of baubles in Christmas-themed hues and sprawling winter leaves and holly.
The proud mum captured a precious moment of her lookalike daughters, Alaia, seven, and three-year-old Valentina posing in front of the fireplace in adorable matching striped pyjamas.
She put her decorations up at the end of November, writing on her Instagram: “I know it’s early but we are WAYYYYYY too excited…and for very good reason.”
The former Coronation Street and Our Girl star transformed her and husband Mark Wright’s farmhouse into Santa’s Grotto.
The couple’s hallway boasts a tall Christmas tree which was decorated with candy canes, toy soldiers and glittery bows.
Brassic star Michelle also posted a photo of their front door on Instagram and showed off the incredible festive garland which greets their guests.
Michelle tagged Elements Home and Garden in the snap to showcase their hard work.
The actress wrote: “The festivities have started early, it’s 2020, and the rules have gone out the window!! Pass me the mulled wine.”
On either side of their large door stood two nutcracker toy soldiers, which looked incredible.
Though there’s still some time left before Santa pays his socially distanced visits, Kate, Rio and the kids have already transformed their mansion into a winter wonderland.
The Ferdinands pulled out all the stops when it came to making the place look festive, and it’s safe to say their Christmas tree was nothing short of sensational.
Kate – who is currently pregnant with her first child – even went as far as personalising stockings for kids Tate, 12, Lorenz, 14, and Tia, nine – whom Rio shared with his late wife.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Kate, 29, couldn’t help but gush over what a stellar decorating job she’d done with her loved ones.
Stunning pink, gold and silver ornaments adorned their incredible tree in the living room, as she penned: “And the Christmas decs are up.”
Kate even hinted that their mansion boasts more than just one Christmas tree.
Showing off the extra detail she went into to personalise the children’s stockings with their initials on them, Kate wrote: “All ready for Santa to come down the chimney.”
It’s safe to say the Ferdinands are ready for Santa to pay them a visit.
Jacqueline Jossa is in the Christmas spirit.
And she’s completely transformed her home into a festive wonderland.
The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! champion simply couldn’t resist the temptation to decorate the gorgeous family home which she shares with husband Dan Osborne.
The 28-year-old took to Instagram on Saturday to share a glimpse into her transformed home.
Jacqueline admitted she completely “caved” after she attempted to resist the urge to decorate early for the festive season.
“We caved and Christmas came early,” she captioned her most recent post.
“Thanks so much to @elementshomegarden for kitting out our home in festive fun!
“I am so excited for Christmas this year and happy to start early.
“I AM GOING IN THIS CHRISTMAS.”
Jac shared a selection of adorable snaps of her girls who appeared to be over the moon that Christmas came early in their house.
Meanwhile, Jac posed in front of her glistening Christmas tree which boasted a chic silver and blue theme.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury
Social media influencer Molly-Mae and her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury, both 21, made a huge effort to decorate their luxe £1.3million Cheshire pad.
The Filter by Molly-Mae CEO recently revealed she doesn’t make a big fuss about the festive period, but her gorgeous flat says otherwise.
“OMG guys, our apartment is now Santa’s Grotto… I can’t get over it!!!! Can’t wait to show you all,” Molly penned alongside one of her Instagram stories.
The blonde bombshell showed off a stunning white tree brimming with Christmas decorations.
The couple have also decorated their living room with several festive ornaments and there is also a frosted wreath above the lavish fireplace.
They have opted to go for an elegant silver and white colour theme to match their neutral decorations.
There is also a huge Santa Claus monument that is stood next to their fireplace.
“Wow. These decorations have made me so happy,” Molly penned in a second post.
Geordie Shore babe Chloe Ferry, 25, is another star who gave in early and transformed her home into a festive wonderland.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram Story to show off her chic decorations throughout her Newcastle pad.
With festive music blaring in the background, Chloe filmed the whole decorating process for her fans to see, as she got into the Christmas spirit with her two pooches.
Chloe opted to keep in line with the decor theme of her house, choosing white and silver decorations.
She put fake presents under the tree for an extra hint of festive cheer.
She then moved on to show her living room, which was decked out in Christmas decor, featuring a huge tree with lights and ornaments, as well as a Santa standing beside it.
Chloe also set the mood with many candles, proving she’s a fan of the cosy setting.
She wrote: “It’s bonfire night reet but this year has been s**t and am calling it a f**king day. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!”
