The reality star – who was recently a contestant on season 14 of Dancing On Ice – is said to have enjoyed a string of dates with her new man and is ‘pretty smitten’ with their romance
Love Island star Liberty Poole has fallen for a construction worker and is said to be on cloud nine – almost a year after she failed to find love on the ITV show.
The reality star is said to have enjoyed a string of dates with the master man – who works as a carpenter and who has been building a relationship with the star.
Addressing her new love story, a source close to the star told The Sun on Sunday: “She has been seeing him for nearly a month.
“They’ve been on a few dates. It’s early days but they get on really well, and Liberty seems pretty smitten.”
The news of an emerging romance for the star comes as Liberty has been pining for a good relationship to come her way.
She has been spending her weekend with a friend named Paige and her family at a fellow friends’ 21st birthday party – and was wowed by a display of love between her friends’ parents.
Sharing a video of the couple dancing together, Liberty wrote via Instagram : “If it’s not love like Paige’s mom and dad I don’t want it.”
She added: “20 years and still so in love” – along with a string of emotional face emojis.
She later shared another video of fellow Dancing On Ice contestants and The Vamps bass guitarist Connor Ball, 26, who was hugging a female friend.
Liberty added the caption: “Again if it’s not love like @luceemoore @connorball I don’t want it,” alone with other emojis including a red heart and a crying-with-laughter emoji.
Last year, Love Island fans watched Liberty fall for builder Jake on the hit ITV2 reality romance show – only for the relationship to take an awkward turn.
Cameras seemed to show Jake manipulating Liberty as their romance soured hours before the live final and Liberty herself struggling to trust him after she was shown footage of Jake which made her question her intentions for him.
While it seemed things were over for good with Jake and Liberty after the Birmingham babe insisted she wanted to choose ‘self-respect’ over a boy, her ex-boyfriendrecently revealed that they tried to work on their romance one more time after the show ended.
Jake previously said: “I only had one girlfriend before her, my childhood sweetheart. I’d never been dumped and it hurt. One minute we were planning a holiday together and arranging to meet each other’s families, the next it was over…
‘We were talking, but we had to agree that we were not right for each other.
“When it was announced she was on Dancing On Ice I sent her a message saying, ‘Well done Lib’. She replied, ‘Thank you’ and that is the last time I spoke to her.”
