Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock and her footballer fiance Andre Gray have delighted fans by revealing they are expecting their first child together – just months after gushing all about their hot romance.
The 29-year-old Little Mix star has been dating Watford Striker Andre for five years – becoming engaged in May last year on their fourth anniversary of being together.
Now, one year after sharing their engagement news, the couple have delighted fans once more by revealing they are expecting their first child.
Last year, Leigh-Anne and 29-year-old Andre featured on the Bumble podcast, My Love Is…, in which they shared details of how they originally met, how they feel about each other, and revealing all about their engagement.
Thinking back to their first encounter, Leigh-Anne revealed she made the first move, saying: “We met in Marbella and we were in a club.
“And basically I feel like, did I make the first move? I feel like I did. In the sense that I spotted Andre and was like ‘Yeah, I’ll have some of that.’ And I think he grabbed my hand.”
Andre added: “I think it was a bit of both. It was a club setting. I knew someone who was with her.”
Leigh-Anne also revealed Andre was shy about his sporting career, saying: “Andre didn’t want to tell me that he was a footballer.”
And the hunky sportsman explained: “Because it seems to be the typical thing to say and it’s not a big deal.”
As the couple discussed their lives together, they painted blissful images of each other.
Describing Andre, Leigh-Anne said: “He is very calming and laid-back. I’ve been in relationships in the past where it has been constant arguing. Andre is just calm and chilled. We don’t really bicker that much. It’s just a very relaxing space.”
The footballer was just as complimentary about his chart topping lover, saying: “I’m always happy to come home and i never feel stressed or under pressure. Except when I get forced to walk the dogs at 10 at night.”
Leigh-Anne also provided insight into the moment Andre proposed to her during lockdown last year.
She said: “It was our four year anniversary and it was during lockdown
“He had set up candles and an outdoor cinema. It was like something out of a movie.
“We was watching this movie and then it cut out and there were pictures of us and it was playing our song and then the screen changed to ‘will you marry me’ and he was on one knee. And I said ‘Yes!’”
On Tuesday the happy couple announced they are set to welcome their first child together.
Sharing photos of her blossoming baby bump on Instagram, Leigh-Anne wrote: “We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true… we can’t wait to meet you.”
The news was met with an avalanche of support of fans – who flooded the comments section with messages of support and congratulations.
Bandmate Jade Thirlwall gushed: “love you so much look at this family.
While fellow Little Mix star Perrie Edwards wrote: “I can’t stop staring at these pictures. You’re a vision. Ily both so much! CONGRATULATIONS my beautiful sister!”
