Kris keeps a strict approach while managing her daughters and all of their respective partners – with a source claiming she insists they all follow the mantra ‘family is number one’
KANYE West’s new album tribute to his mum
Mums know best, it seems, especially if she is multi-millionaire “momager” Kris Jenner.
According to a source, the 65-year-old is the reason why the Kardashian women always present a united front – and that means whether it’s supporting each other’s business ventures or the fathers of their children.
Kris believes that “Family is number one”, the source claims, which is why the US reality TV star has made sure that her daughters always show up for their ex-partners.
In recent weeks, fans were surprised to see 40-year-old Kim Kardashian attend the listening event of her former husband Kanye West’s new album in Atlanta – with the rap legend documenting the meltdown of his marriage in tracks from the new record.
Kim was spotted backstage with her children and her sister Khloe as her ex performed and played new music from the album, titled Donda – with Kim even wearing an all-red ensemble to match with the 46-year-old rapper.
A source told Hollywood-Life: “ Kris always instilled in them the importance of working on their relationships and having positive ones with the father of their children, no matter what. She’s also a fixer and has been instrumental in helping all of her children to have good relationships.”
They continued, “She’s smart and these are somewhat of business transactions in her eyes to see the family put together. She wants the wholesome look for the family. “

But despite appearances, it appears that Kris is not afraid to have a confrontation if necessary, with the insider adding: “She has no problem holding a meeting and playing mediator between her children and the other party. She will pick up the phone to help and she’s usually successful.”
Kim and Kanye were married for nearly seven years and share four children, North, 11, Saint, five, Chicago, three and Psalm, two – but split earlier this year.
At the stadium event, Kanye performed a track from the album he named after his late mother, with the repeated words “I’m losing my family, I’m losing my family.”
Kanye, who is said to be dating Russian model Irina Shayk, the former partner of Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper, just announced a second listening event for the album as its release date has been delayed again.
The new listening party will again be held at the Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta on Thursday 5 August – raising hopes among fans that the album will be released to the public on Friday.
Fans previously hoped the long-awaited record would be unleashed following the original listening party – only for it to not materialise.

Rap sensation Kanye has since been living in the stadium – in very modest accommodation – and is said to be refusing to leave the venue until he completes his work on the new album.
A press release about the new listening party was issued on Friday night and stated: : “ Kanye West Presents The Donda Album Release at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday, August 5 at 9:00PM.
“Tickets go on sale Monday, August 2 at 10:00am EST at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for this event are $30.00 [£23.70] to $75.00 [£53.94].”
