Katie Price is sharing the renovations of her so-called ‘Mucky’ Mansion with her fans – but they’ve warned her that she could be putting herself in danger.
The former glamour model, who recently got engaged to beau Carl Woods, has made an Instagram account dedicated to her £2m Sussex mansion as she works to overhaul it.
But some fans suggested that she’d made a mistake by sharing pictures of her floor plans.
“Floor plans of the plucky mansion,” she captioned the shots which showed the layout of her three-storey home, including its nine bedrooms and spacious living areas.
And while many people gushed over how amazing her home looks and shared their excitement about following the renovations, some felt the mum-of-five had made a mistake.
“I wouldn’t put my floor plans up,” one commented.
Another posted: “Not wishing to be too negative but if any burglars are following you and view these….. just saying.”
“Wouldn’t post floor plans for security reasons,” a third warned.
While one told her: “I love seeing your updates but by putting floor plans on you’ve given clever burglars routes into your home”
And another asked: “Why would you put the FLOOR PLANS of your home on social media???”
However, not everyone felt Katie was wrong to share the images.
One wrote: “All these people talking about floor plans and u shouldn’t post them! Right-move, Zoopla and any estate agent posts floor plans too! For any priced property! so posting it on here is irrelevant really!”
And another posted: “So many people on here saying not to share floor plans but I don’t get the risk ? Maybe someone will design your house for you using the plans ?”
Katie once said that she never wanted to live in the mansion again.
She told the Mirror last year that it was filled with too many “bad memories” and misery, including a string of break-ins.
She said at the time: “The doctors from The Priory have said that my house, mentally, is a place I can’t ever go back to because there’s too many memories.
“Even just walking up the driveway drives me mad, and when I’m in I want to get out of there. I can’t explain it in my head and it’s just so sad what’s happened to my house.
“It’s sad because it could be such an amazing place, but no I’m done it with. I own that house but it just literally sits there until mentally I’m ready to do something with it. It’s weird to know that I still own that big house, it just sits there, I sometimes forget that I’ve even got it.”
