Kate Ferdinand has shared a glimpse inside her first Easter weekend as a new mum.
The former TOWIE star, 29, enjoyed a fun-filled Easter Saturday with her four-month-old son Cree, her husband Rio, 42, and his three kids Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine.
Taking to Instagram, Kate revealed that she was forced to celebrate the holiday a day earlier due to her ex-footballer husband’s prior work commitments.
The proud mum looked radiant as she posed in a wholesome mother-son snap which saw her cradle little Cree who rocked an Easter-themed outfit, complete with bunnies embroidered on it.
Meanwhile, Cree’s gorgeous mum kept things casual in a beige tank top and a matching cool-toned oversized shirt.
Alongside the snap, Kate wished her adoring followers a happy Easter before divulging into how her family had spent their sunny, fun-filled Saturday.
“Happy Easter everyone,” the former reality TV star began.
“We have had such a lovely day. We celebrated a day early, because of lots of football tomorrow.
“I wish I could get all the big ones (including Rio) in matching bunny outfits, but I just about get away with the matching Christmas pjs! Don’t wanna push my luck … so just Cree for now.
“Hope you all have a lovely long Easter weekend.”
Kate also shared a glimpse into what her step-children got up on Saturday as she posted some snaps of their Easter activities on her Instagram Stories.
The wholesome family day saw Lorenz, Tate, and Tia paint some eggs and they also baked an array of Easter-themed biscuits and cakes while their step-mum kicked back and enjoyed a glass of wine.
Kate has been kept on her toes in recent months with her baby Cree after she became a first-time mum in December.
After her son’s birth, the former reality personality candidly revealed that she chose not to breastfeed her newborn son.
While she was happy with her decision, she chose not to tell others as she felt under immense pressure to conform to societal standards of motherhood.
Kate has found it difficult to admit in public her choices for fear of the backlash she might face.
