As their iconic reality TV series comes to an end after 14 years on screen, the Kardashian clan decided to take one final family trip on camera in the latest episode of the hit show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
“What about Lake Tahoe?” Kourtney Kardashian is heard suggesting.
“We haven’t been since I was 11,” the oldest sister adds while sharing a link to a resort sent to her by a friend.
The vacation spot in question is a stunning South Lake Tahoe property that boasts 17 bedrooms and costs, on average, a whopping £4.5 thousand pounds a night!
Listed on Vrbo, a online holiday rental company, the picturesque cabin was the setting for the social media savvy family’s December getaway.
The multi-million pound mega mansion is certainly a level up from your regular holiday hotel.
The booking website for the holiday home promises it will “leave you in awe” as you walk through the property’s breathtaking entrance and witness the stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the snowcapped mountains.
Residents are able to enjoy the sight of “turquoise waters with white mountains that will forever be embedded in your visual memory” from the comfort of the cabin’s luxury outdoor area.
Complete with a built-in BBQ in the entertaining area, the decking offers stunning patio furniture set in front of a large custom 10 foot linear fireplace with the most incredible backdrop of the lake.
With over 17,000 square feet of luxury, the scenic estate not only has multiple bedrooms and bathrooms but a private pool, a games room, an indoor movie theatre and a built in BBQ in the outdoor entertaining area.
Guests at the cabin can also take advantage of the on-site services which include access to a private chef and chauffeur.
The property, which is listed on a site that operates similarly to Airbnb, has received nothing but 5 star testimonials from previous holiday makers – with one reviewer saying: “The pictures don’t do it justice. Breathtaking house!!”
Its appearance on Keeping Up with the Kardashians won’t be the first time the Californian resort has made a cameo on the small screen.
The stunning estate has also featured on television series such as ABC’s The Bachelor and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills according to the property’s online listing.
Keeping up With The Kardashians is down to its final few episodes before it comes to an end next week.
The final instalment is due to air on June 10 after 20 seasons on air.
It debuted in 2007 and became a huge hit, propelling Kim and the rest of the clan to international fame and spawning spin-offs including Kourtney and Kim Take Miami and Life of Kylie.
In the run up to the lead episode, the show’s creators and stars have been revealing the secrets fans may never have known.
It also emerged that the show only managed to get a coveted slot on the E! network after Lindsay Lohan scrapped plans for her own reality show.
Lindsay’s show was canned unexpectedly when she pulled out of filming following her DUI arrest in July 2007 – and it left E! chiefs with a hole in their TV schedule that they urgently needed to fill.
They opted to take a chance on the Kardashians and it proved to be an extremely lucrative decision for the network.
Kim also admitted she was so keen to launch a career in reality TV, she’d actually signed up for a new version of I’m a Celebrity before KUWTK got the green light.
She explained: “they were going to do a show called I’m a Rich Kid… Get Me Out of Here, and it was gonna be like celebrities’ kids doing the jungle thing.
“And I was going to do that, but then the show got cancelled.”
