Jenny from the Block has removed all her photos with Alex from her main Instagram feed – and has even unfollowed the baseball star – after reuniting with Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez has taken the brutal step of erasing ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez from her social media history as her rekindled romance with former fiancé Ben Affleck heats up.
During the course of their high-profile relationship, JLo and ARod would frequently feature on each others’ social media feeds – with a stunning batch of engagement photos emerging of the two two years ago that were splashed all over their socials.
But now Jen has rekindled her long past romance with 48-year-old Oscar winner Ben – and now it seems even the happiest of memories of her time with Alex have been erased from her virtual life.
PageSix noted this weekend: “Followers took note Saturday that the Bronx-born entertainer’s social media feed had been slightly revamped, with photos of ex-fiancé A-Rod all having been removed from her account.”
And indeed, all trace of Alex is gone from JLo’s Instagram and more.
JLo has unfollowed ARod on the social media platform – and even removed iconic snaps of them together at landmark moments from history including the inauguration ceremony of current US President Joe Biden.
ARod, meanwhile, continues to follow the one that got away.
A source has suggested the American sportsman is not too upset over his current single status, telling PageSix: “Rodriguez is single and having fun”, while he is also rumoured to be dating sports reporter Melanie Collins.
JLo and Ben’s romance, meanwhile, is going from strength to strength.
The duo – who were engaged back in 2003 before splitting in 2004 due to overwhelming public interest in their relationship – have been reportedly house hunting in recent weeks.
Last month, Jen celebrated her birthday by placing a kiss on Ben’s lips – and uploading a snap of the intimate moment to her Instagram, making the couple officially back together by modern standards.
“5 2 … what it do …” she wrote alongside the snaps, adding a pink love heart emoji.
Her followers rushed to comment on the snaps, with one writing: “We are living for this.”
Another posted: “I mean, if you’re going to Instagram official do it like @JLo.”
Meanwhile, Ben’s good friend Matt Damon has been rooting for the pair as their romance has been rekindled since they split back in 2004.
Speaking on The Carlos Watson Show earlier this month, 50-year-old Matt – who shot to fame alongside Ben after their Oscar winning tun in their 1997 film Good Will Hunting – said: “Oh man, no one’s pulling harder than I am.
“They’re both great. I just want for their happiness. They seem pretty happy right now.”
Bennifer got back in touch in April after her split from Alex Rodriguez.
The romance was first reported when they enjoyed a romantic skiing break just weeks after JLo’s split.
Since then, the newly-reunited pair haven’t been shy about their love, and have been spotted looking very cosy on numerous occasions.
