Jedward looking completely unrecognisable after shaving their trademark blonde quiffs into daring buzz cuts.
The famous twins – whose real names are John and Edward Grimes – had been rocking their signature style since before they shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009.
However, the long-haired lads decided to switch up their look while raising money for the Irish Cancer Society, in honour of their late mum Susanna.
The boys made the announcement on Twitter informing fans that the makeover would take place on Irish chat show The Late Late Show.
Edward explained: “We hope all the funds raised will contribute to a cancer-free future, this is such a good cause.
“We’re sending so much strength and love to all those suffering with cancer.”
Appearing on the chat show on Friday night, the boys took the clippers to each other’s hair as they shrieked in hysterics.
“Who am I? Who is this person?” John cried as he caught glimpse of his new hair for the first time.
Following the stunt, the boys revealed that they had raised an incredible £2.5million for the Irish Cancer Society with the money still pouring in.
Fans on social praised Jedward for having ‘hearts of gold’ as they sent their support and donated.
“I love you both for doing this it’s very emotional. For everyone who is going through cancer or has had cancer. Hearts of Gold,” one tweeted.
“You did an amazing thing for an amazing cause… your mum must be so proud of you both,” another added.
The boys wanted to do something to honour their mum Susanna, who passed away ‘unexpectedly’ from cancer in 2019.
Paying tribute to their ‘mammy’ at the time, the twins shared a heartbreaking open letter on Instagram.
They wrote: “You lived with cancer for many years but your passing was unexpected because you had overcome so many struggles and health complications
“Mammy taught us how to deal with life and never let anyone say a bad word about us and always stood up for us and to take on life by being a free spirit.
Mammy you had the Determination that we will take into our lives. Mammy had all the character of who she was up until her last breath.
Mammy’s life doesn’t end here because everything she was, lives on through all of us in our memories”
The duo – and their other brother Kevin – signed off the message by telling their late mum they would be thinking of her always.
