Jay-Z has filed to dismiss the civil lawsuit that accused him of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000.

Per court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Monday, December 9, Jay-Z, 55, asked the court to dismiss Jane Doe’s civil lawsuit “for lack of subject matter jurisdiction due to the plaintiff’s lack of standing.”

“Plaintiff has provided no evidence — no affidavit, declaration, or specific factual support — to establish the kind of severe harm necessary to justify pseudonymity,” the document read.

Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) claimed that lawyer Tony Buzbee crafted an “extortionate campaign” against him for several months.

“That campaign was cynical and calculated to force payment of an exorbitant sum of money — Defendant would have to pay X millions of dollars irrespective of the truth, or else,” the document read. “When Defendant refused to pay and instead took measures to establish his innocence, this unnamed Plaintiff and her self-promoting counsel (whose name has been splashed across headlines and press conferences under auspices of representing her) went to extraordinary lengths to shut down fair defense.”

The rapper claimed Buzbee “leveled baseless accusations” against him while “hiding behind the pseudonym ‘Jane Doe.’”

“These claims are not about justice for victims. Nor are they about giving victims of sexual violence a voice,” the filing read. “Instead, they are merely the next chapter in Attorney Buzbee’s sprawling extortion saga — a saga whose aim is base and measured in dollars.”

Jay-Z requested that the court deny the plaintiff’s motion and asked the court for her identity to be “disclosed immediately” to the public. (It remains unclear whether Jay-Z is the male celebrity that sued Buzbee and his firm.)

Jay-Z’s filing comes one day after he and Sean “Diddy” Combs were named as defendants in a civil lawsuit that accused them of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old. The woman, who identified as Jane Doe, claimed the assault occurred at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000.

The suit was first filed in October in the Southern District of New York and initially only listed Diddy as the sole defendant. It was refiled on Sunday to include Jay-Z.
