Jacqueline Jossa has shared pictures of bulldozers tearing up the garden of her £1 million “forever home”.
The ex-EastEnders star, 28, was thrilled to tell her army of social media followers that she and husband Dan Osborne, 29, had bought their dream house – but it seems it needed a few adjustments before it was ready for them and their three kids.
Posting to her new Instagram account, @HomewiththeOsbornes, she said: “So I’m at the new house. So this is the flooring at the present, but the walls have all been painted now and the skirting’s been done.
“We’re having carpets up here because we’re used to carpets and think it’s cosier.

“I do like the look of wood floors but we’re cosy people at heart, you know when you’ve just gotten out of the shower. You want to feel the warmth on your tootsies!
“I mean it’s all cracking on. We’ve got the painters up there on whatever that is called.
“They’re ripping up the floorboards already. It doesn’t look like much has happened.
“I reckon we’re going to need about a million skips.”
Jac and Dan are parents to two little girls, Ella, five, and two-year-old Mia, and the ex-Towie is also dad to little Teddy, seve, who is a regular visitor.
In a few months when the weather warms up they will have plenty of space to run around in – and by the looks of it, it’ll be an idyllic setting for lazy summer days.
Talking through the outside activity at the new Jossa-Osborne HQ, she said: “Loads of stuff is going on, the garden progress.
“Sometimes it looks worse but the groundwork is being done so it will look better.”
The couple are currently staying in their rented home down the road until renovations at the new house are complete.
However, the work has hit several bumps including a rancid smell that lingered in the couple’s new cinema room.
During an Instagram live this weekend, Jac admitted the room with no windows smelt appalling and she’s had the carpets cleaned twice but the stench just won’t go.
She initially thought an animal had died in there, but now thinks it could have been someone spilling a milkshake or a protein shake on the carpet.
Jac is planning to have one more deep clean in the room in a final attempt to vanquish the bad smell.
Jacqueline recently toasted to “new beginnings” as she showed off their swanky new home on her Instagram.
“WE GOT THE KEYS. We have waited a while but we picked up the keys to our forever home,” she continued.
“It needs some tender loving care, a lick of paint and some tweaks. I love love love it so much. I’m so proud.”
The couple hope to move into the new pad later this year.
