Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s fans are convinced that the loved-up duo are recreating iconic scenes from the Jenny from the Block music video.
In an intricate fan theory shared on social media, fans of the Hollywood lovebirds detailed several scenes that the duo have been captured in since rekindling their romance.
The wild theory comes shortly after J-Lo and Ben went Instagram official with a stunning snap of them sharing a tender kiss, as their romance continues to go from strength to strength.
Jennifer Lopez’s hit Jenny From The Block was released in 2002 alongside an iconic music video that featured her then-boyfriend Ben.
The couple had previously met on the set of their movie Gigli and were smitten with each other at the time.
They were together until 2004, when the pair cancelled their engagement and went their separate ways only to reunite in 2021.
According to one eagle-eyed fan called @instacais, the theory began earlier this year when Ben was spotted wearing the watch that J-Lo gifted him in the original Jenny from the Block music video.
The theory then draws focus to the first paparazzi pictures taken of the couple when they shared their first public kiss.
From the placement of the table to the angle of the photographer, this fan theory is convinced that the similarities weren’t a coincidence.
The theory is now even more certain that the duo are reenacting their Jenny From The Block clip after they were spotted in quite a familiar pose on a yacht.
Over the weekend, J-Lo and Ben sent social media into meltdown as they shared a tender moment while enjoying the sun on deck.
However, their tender moment was also a spitting resemblance of a scene taken from the music video in which he placed his hand on her bottom.
The fan theory then predicts that the next scene will see Ben putting gas in Jen’s car, which also featured in the music video.
The social media user then added: “A lot of people are nervous that if what I prophesied was true, it means the romance is a sham. Folks, no. That is not what anyone is saying here. I believe the romance is as real as it was the first time, ok?
The Instagram profile also adds that they would be very ‘disappointed’ if the duo were only subconsciously reenacting every scene from the music video instead of remaking it for the 20th anniversary of the clip.
A representative for the couple has been approached by The Mirror for comment.
Jennifer and Ben appear to have gone from strength to strength ever since they went public with their rekindled romance earlier this year – almost two decades after they first started dating.
Over the weekend, J-Lo shared a loved-up snap on social media as she tenderly kissed her boyfriend and firmly proved that their love was continuing to move in the right direction.
It has even been reported that the duo were spotted at house viewings in Los Angeles as the songstress is seriously considering a move to the west coast.
