Singer Christina Perri shared the exciting news that she is expecting a baby girl with her husband Paul Costabile.
The couple, who are already parents to 4-year-old daughter Carmella Stanley, posted an adorable clip on Instagram.
The video began with a camera panning over the pavement, which was covered in flowers, towards the family’s front door.
Her daughter walks out the front door towards a brown box wrapped in a pink balloon sitting on the porch.
She unwraps it to find a sonogram on the inside. Christina and Paul stand side-by-side as they celebrate the news.
“ Rosie sent carmella a little sister and we’re very excited,” the singer captioned the post.
“We’ve been having all the feelings, but mostly trying everyday to choose joy.”
Fans and friends were delighted with the news and took to the comment section to congratulate the growing family.
“Over the moon for you!” one user commented while another added: ” So happy for you mama!”
A follower wrote: “ So happy for you and your beautiful family !!!!!” and another said: ” Still sobbing over this, friend!!!!!! Just so so so excited for you!!!!”
The phenomenal news comes less than two years after the Jar of Hearts singer revealed that Rosie was ‘born silent’.
The 35-year-old singer had shared a photo of her holding her tiny baby’s hand as she and her husband Paul told her followers that their daughter had been “born silent.”
The Thousand Years singer wrote in an emotional post on Instagram in November 2020: “last night we lost our baby girl. she was born silent after fighting so hard to make it to our world.
“She is at peace now and will live forever in our hearts.”

Her husband also shared the same photo, along with the caption: “It’s been a rough couple of weeks and we’re so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers from you all.”
A few weeks after the heartbreaking post, she took to social media to update fans on the grief the family was suffering through.
“Some days we can’t swim, some days we float fine. Every day we burst into tears and every day we find moments to laugh,” she said.
“It’s been all the feelings, all the emotions, all the questions, all the anger, all the sadness; all day long.
“Some moments of surrender and hope slip in there, but not often. I know that’s all normal. Honestly it’s been mostly overwhelming.”
Christina also thanked those who supported and helped the family through their heartbreak.
