Adele and Rich Paul’s Relationship Timeline

Adele’s appearance alongside Paul starts rumors that the two are dating. Several days later, a source confirms to People that Adele and Rich Paul are an item and have been dating “for a few months.”

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst also confirms the couple is real. “Rich Paul is at the game with Adele,” he says on his podcast, The Lowe Post, per People. “LeBron is watching the game with Adele. This is the first time that they’ve come out in public together.” LeBron James is one of Paul’s clients.  

July 22: The couple are spotted on a date in NYC. A few days later, a source tells People that Adele and Paul aren’t that serious: “It’s not super serious, but they’re having a good time. They have mutual friends in common, so that’s been nice. She’s having fun and being social.”

September 2021

September 19: After weeks of rumors, Adele and Rich Paul make their relationship Instagram-official. Adele shares photos of herself in an iconic Schiaparelli dress and one photo with Paul. The photos were taken for Lakers player Anthony Davis’s wedding, who is another one of Paul’s clients. Knowing she doesn’t need to say much, she adds a simple red-heart emoji.

October 2021

October 7: In an interview with Vogue, Adele finally speaks about her relationship with Paul, revealing that they were friends for a while before dating. They originally met at a party where she drunkenly joked that he should sign her as a client. “The last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know where they’re at, or what they want. I know what I want,” she says. “And I really know what I don’t want.”

October 19: The couple make another courtside appearance to watch the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Golden State Warriors in the NBA season-opening game. Adele wears another glam look, with a brown leather ensemble and Louis Vuitton coat.
