Dinner SOS is the podcast where we answer desperate home cooks’ cries for help. In every episode, food director Chris Morocco and a rotating cast of cooking experts tackle a highly specific conundrum and present two solutions. The caller will pick one, cook through it, and let us know if we successfully helped rescue dinner.
I work in food media because I feel compelled to talk to people about what they eat. I want to know what is in your fridge, in your pantry, and what you bought at the supermarket yesterday. If you tell me you ate eggs this morning, you better plan for me to ask you how you cooked them and in what pan. Photos too, if you have them.
So much food content only flows in one direction, though. While I love reaching our audience through our recipes, articles, and videos, my new podcast, Dinner SOS is about connecting directly with our listeners to understand the unique problems they are facing in the kitchen. Helping home cooks one dinner at a time means listening as much as talking, immersing myself in new perspectives and hopefully helping people enjoy the process of cooking as much as they enjoy what is on their plates.
