Suzuki Is Taunting America With This New Retro Jimny

The GLX starts at $33,490 AUD which is a little over $22,500 USD and packs some great features like automatic LED headlights, Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a backup camera, fog lights, lane departure, emergency braking, and much more. We imagine the Heritage pack will add another $1,000 or so to the price, but we say however much it is, it’s worth it.

When Suzukie reveals models like these it almost seems like it’s taunting us. The company had a footing here for decades and only graced us with malaise cars in its last years. A few years after they left though, they got back to their roots and finally deliver something Americans would want, just not to Americans.

All we can hope is that the company comes to its senses soon and at least attempts to offer this car here in a limited capacity, especially with the five-door version coming out. That way Americans won’t have to continue to jump through hoops and pay exorbitant prices to get their hands on the model.
