Full list of last Christmas posting dates in 2024 for Royal Mail, Evri and more

Christmas is less than a month away and time is running out to order presents online and have them posted in time for December 25.

Queuing might be a national pastime, but we can’t blame you if you hate standing in line or lugging huge shopping bags around in the cold.

Some people actually enjoy the chaos Christmas shopping, but others prefer order online and have gifts delivered at a date and time of their choosing.

From Royal Mail to Evri, John Lewis, and ASOS, Metro has done the hard work and tracked down their final delivery dates so you don’t have to.

Royal Mail last Christmas posting dates 2024

Royal Mail says that people should allow plenty of time for posting this winter.

Last posting dates include:

• Wednesday, December 18 – 2nd Class, 2nd Class Signed For
• Friday, December 20 – 1st Class, 1st Class Signed For, Royal Mail Tracked 48
• Saturday, December 21 – Royal Mail Tracked 24
• Monday, December 23 – Special Delivery Guaranteed

Parcelforce last Christmas posting dates 2024

Parcelforce last posting dates for Christmas 2024 are as follows:

• Thursday, December 19 – Two-day services
• Friday, December 20 – Next day services

Saturday service is available for next-day services on Friday, December 20 and on two-day posts on Thursday, December 19.

Evri last Christmas posting dates 2024

A spokesperson for Evri said: ‘For many, Christmas can’t come soon enough. But when it comes to sending parcels ahead of the big day, you don’t want to be too late.

‘Whether you’re fulfilling festive orders to your customers or sending a gift to a friend or loved one, stay ahead this holiday season with the last posting dates for Christmas 2024.

‘We want our customers to have the best experience possible during this busy season. With so much to get done to make this Christmas the best yet, the sending deadlines can creep up on you.’

The UK (domestic) last Evri posting dates for Christmas 2024 are:

• Thursday, December 19 – last day for courier collections
• Friday, December 20 – send a parcel standard delivery from a ParcelShop or Evri Locker by 11am
• Saturday, December 21 – send a parcel next-day delivery from a ParcelShop or Evri Locker by 11am

John Lewis last Christmas posting dates 2024

John Lewis last posting dates for Christmas 2024 are as follows:

• Thursday, December 19 – order by 7pm for standard delivery or collection so you can have your items by Christmas Eve
• Sunday, December 22 – pay an extra £7.50 and order by 7pm for next day delivery

ASOS last Christmas posting dates 2024

The last date to order from ASOS are as follows:

• Thursday, December 19 – standard Click &Collect
• Friday, December 20 – standard delivery
• Sunday, December 22 – fastest Click & Collect
• Monday, December 23 – fastest delivery

Selfridges last Christmas posting dates 2024

Selfridge’s last Christmas 2024 posting dates are as follows:

• Thursday, December 19 – standard delivery
• Sunday, December 22 – next day delivery
• Monday, December 23 – same day delivery
